Silk has its origins in China, and our glittering Mirafiori 100% silk taffetas stripes collection brings us glimpses of glamorous fabrics fit for an Emperor. Many of the stripes are overlaid with satin weave and delicate textured weave structures. A beautiful flowing wave patterned, jacquard woven silk with inimitable lustre set against the matt raised design, takes us again to the mimicry of nature’s design, and expresses it in serenity. The whole collection exudes those inimitable silken qualities of lustre, rustle and shimmer that have afforded it its renown over the ages.
Ripples of satin weave create contrast and texture with the luxurious silk ground, as broad tonal bands of colour move beneath. An exquisite and versatile silk jacquard inventively woven for something truly unique.
